Lloyd R. Persun, Esquire

State and local taxation, creditors' rights and commercial law are the core of Mr. Persun's practice.

He is an honors graduate of Dickinson College and George Washington University Law School. He is admitted to the Bars of all Courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court and The United States Claims Court.

His peers recently selected him for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the Tax Law practice area. Best Lawyers is the guide to legal excellence in the United States. Mr. Persun advises corporate, commercial and individual clients on a variety of tax, creditors' rights and related issues. He speaks before trade and business associations on issues involving state and local taxation in Pennsylvania. He also has written articles on state tax issues for business and professional journals and lectured in the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Continuing Legal Education Program.

Mr. Persun is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where he teaches state and local taxation.

Mr. Persun is active in community affairs. In 1987, he was elected to the Board of Supervisors in Monaghan Township, York County, and served as its vice chairman from 1992 until 1994. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Harrisburg Academy; received the school's Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1977 and in 1993 and its Friend of the School Award in 1997; and was elected Trustee Emeritus in 1998. He served as an Elder of the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church between May 1999 and May 2005 and Monaghan Presbyterian Church between February 2010 and January 2014.
